About Breville Microwaves

Breville Group Limited in a share market-listed company that specialises in the development and distribution of small electrical kitchen appliances. Think kettles, blenders, juicers, mixers, coffee machines, ovens and, of course, microwaves.

The business was founded in Australia in 1932, on Melbourne Cup day, by Bill O’Briend and Harry Norville, who combined their surnames to create “Breville”. It now trades in more than 30 countries. In Australia and New Zealand, the company trades under its company-owned brands, Breville, Ronson and Kambrook and is focused on the premium kitchen segment of the market.

What our survey respondents say about Breville microwaves

Canstar Blue’s most recent microwave satisfaction survey sought the opinions of 745 New Zealanders; some of the comments from owners of Breville microwaves were as follows:

The microwave is everything that you need for a family microwave. It looks good and has very useful functions. It beeps five times when it finishes.
Fits well with the rest of furniture, easy to use, easy to clean. Buttons were very confusing to begin with.
Have many products from them, all work extremely well. Reheat seems to take a long time.  To be fair I still have to read the instructions, the microwave is a recent purchase.
It looks good, relatively easy to use, great smart defrost feature, great child lock. Only problem is that it is noisy.
I find it very easy to use and to clean which is most important. This model was to low power and not digital.  Not Breville’s fault just a bad purchase choice.
