Review of Trustpower broadband plans

Sky Broadband Review

If your current internet plan has you dragging your feet, you might want to consider flying high with Sky Broadband.

Sky Broadband offers three super-fast fibre plans, which can be bundled with Sky TV for extra value. In fact, Sky Broadband is Canstar Blue’s 2023 award winner for Most Satisfied Customers, thanks to its great broadband deals. Sky Broadband’s plans all come with unlimited fibre:

Starter Fibre (50/10Mbps)

  • $60 per month
  • Free use of Sky WiFi 6 router

Everyday Fibre (303/108Mbps)

  • $85 per month
  • $100 credit
  • Free use of Sky WiFi 6 router

Fibre Pro (828/498Mbps)

  • $105 per month
  • $250 credit
  • Free use of Sky WiFi 6 router

Extras across all plans:

  • Sky Home Phone Plan for $10/month
  • Wifi set-up technician for $150
  • Static IP address for a monthly fee of $10

Sky TV Bundles

All Sky Broadband plans come with the option of adding Sky TV plan. Creating a Sky Broadband + Sky TV bundle means you can get more content for less money.

Sky Starter (the base Sky TV package) is $25.99 per month on its own. The minimum price of Sky Broadband and Sky TV bundles are:

  • Fibre Pro ($85) with Sky Starter ($25.99) = $110.99/month
  • Fibre Everyday ($75) with Sky Starter ($25.99) = $100.99/month
  • Fibre Starter ($60) with Sky Starter ($25.99) = $85.99/month

How does Sky Broadband compare?

All plans are for 300/100Mbps with no home phone line. Unless indicated as an extra, all include a router, although a delivery fee can apply. It’s worth noting that most deals also include early termination fees, should you break your contract early. And many allow you to bring your own compatible router.
